Winter is finally here!  Boston was kind enough to treat me to my first New England snow the day after I got back from Texas and for now, I'm completely fascinated by it.  I know it won't be long before I'm complaining and y'all will be sick of hearing me whine about how cold it is or that I can't go anywhere because I don't know how to drive in this stuff, but for now I'll stay by my cozy fire and take it all in.  Oh, and watching Pecan play in the snow is totally worth every freezing second!

With all this cold weather comes layering and that layering usually consists of lots of neutrals and darker colors, so for Christmas I asked for a brighter hat and scarf set to try and break up the monotonous winter wear.  I've also been eyeing anything and everything bright pink lately, so this set was just right!  I never considered myself to be much of a hat person, let alone a beanie person, but considering that I'm freezing the second I step outside I think I'll become a hat person sooner rather than later.
