Last week I spent a bit of time in Houston after a sweet friend's bridal shower to get some of our furniture that had been in storage and to take my grandmother to one of her appointments. Long story short, Houston had the ice storm of the decade and I ended up being cooped up inside for a few days because all the roads were literally shut down. It was a little bit of a blessing in disguise because I got some work done, spent some time with my MIL and honestly spent a good amount of time doing absolutely nothing!
While I was lounging I decided to browse Nordstrom's sale section to see if I could find a few dresses for some upcoming events we have and the instant I saw this one I immediately clicked "add to cart". I tend to lean towards little black dresses because I know they'll usually fit the bill for just about any occasion and the bell sleeves on this one are just too good. The material has a bit of stretch to it and is a thicker material so I don't imagine this will be too great during the summer, but at just under $50 I think it's a great buy to last the rest of this season and into spring! A little note - to me the sizing did run a bit big, so if I were ordering again I would definitely size down one size.
