This past summer and fall it seems like I spent forever looking for the perfect pair of white jeans.  I tried on so many that were just a little too sheer and was ready to give up my search when I tried on this pair from J Brand.  I knew the instant I put them on that I would not be leaving the store without them.  They aren't sheer, have the perfect amount of distressing and enough stretch to keep you comfortable even though you just ate your weight in holiday meals!

Now, I have to admit, I was the girl who followed all the "fashion rules" when I was younger and put my white clothing away after Labor Day.  I think this practice is more prevalent in the south, which is silly considering it stays so warm for the majority of the year and lighter clothes are definitely more practical.  But after searching for this pair of jeans for so long, why on earth would I want to limit wearing them from Memorial Day to Labor Day?!

One of my favorite ways to wear white in winter is to pair it with pastels and neutral accessories.  I think we fall into wearing dark and heavy clothes during the winter, which is chic and seasonally appropriate, but gets a little boring and monotonous after a while, so wearing winter white is a refreshing change.  And if you're brave enough, wearing white to a winter party will definitely make you stand out from the sea of red and green!

I hope you're having a very Merry Christmas Eve!
