Kyle and I have officially been married for a whole year! It's seems so strange to be saying that because it feels like it was just yesterday that I was putting on my wedding dress and saying "I do!". We (I) decided to celebrate by planning a trip to Cape Cod for a little weekend getaway. "I" is in parenthesis because I tried my best to surprise Kyle and failed miserably. I absolutely cannot lie to Kyle and have the worst poker face imaginable. It only took him a few days to get the surprise out of me.
I didn't manage to pull off the surprise, but we still enjoyed a weekend away to just relax and spend some time together exploring somewhere we've wanted to go for a while. Even though it's fall and getting pretty cold out, the Cape was absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to go back in season. We visited a beach, Nobska Lighthouse, and some small little town with fabulous restaurants, with my favorite being an authentic Irish restaurant called the Keltic Kitchen. We're definitely planning on going back, so if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear!
