This past weekend Kyle and I crossed off picking apples from my fall bucket list!  I love apples, so as soon as we found out we were moving to this part of the country, I knew it was something I just had to do.  We went to Parlee Farms, which is about 25 minutes from our apartment.  It's the cutest little place where you can buy or pick your own apples, walk through fields of zinnias and sunflowers, and grab an ice cream from their farmstand.  We ended up picking 10 pounds of apples, which is a lot less than I thought it would be, but we will definitely be eating quite a few apples in the next week!

Just in case you were wondering, I definitely jumped the gun on wearing a sweater to the orchard.  I kept telling myself that it was cool outside and it would be totally fine.  I mean, picking apples is a fall activity, so I had to dress the part, right?  I was so, so wrong.  It may have even cool enough to have the windows open overnight this past weekend, but when the sun came out it hit 80 degrees.  Not my smartest decision.

With that being said, I really did love the way this sweater fit.  I got it in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and when I went to check on the availability for this post, I saw that it's actually less than the anniversary sale price!  It's listed as a tunic and it definitely is long in the back.  It's going to be so perfect to wear with leggings when it's actually cool enough to wear a cashmere sweater! In case they don't have our size in the one I linked, this one is by the same company, fits very similarly, and is also on sale.  I would recommend sizing down one size in these as they run pretty oversized.

With this item crossed off my fall bucket list, we'll be tackling one of Kyle's next.  I'm dying to do anything and everything fall since we'll actually get that season this year, so, is there anything on your fall bucket list that's an absolute must? I'd love to hear!

xo,
Kitty
