Tory Burch Robinson Cross Body // I love a good cross body for summer and have had my eyes on this one for a while.  They're so much easier to carry around for all your summer activities!

J.Crew Straw Market Tote // This tote is on serious sale right now, and I just might have to snag it for myself.  Whether you're at the beach or at the farmer's market, this would definitely come in handy!

Neutrogena Sunscreen // Being as pale as I am (and Kyle, too, for that matter), I don't leave the house without some form of Neutrogena sunscreen in my purse.  It's not greasy, it goes on smooth, and has never irritated my sensitive skin!

Fresh Sugar Advanced Lip Therapy// Say hello to the only lip balm I have ever used in it's entirety.  Enough said.

E.L.F. Setting Spray // I have to thank my best friend and blogger behind Suzy Speaks for introducing me to this.  I would always have a problem with my mascara or eyeliner getting on the area under my eye.  A couple quick sprays of this and my problem was solved.  And you can't beat the price - just $3!

Living Proof 5 in 1 // I've actually started using the entire Living Proof set and have seen a drastic change in my hair.  It's softer, smoother, and way less prone to frizz (thank you, Texas humidity).

Madewell Slub V-Neck Pocket Tee // If I could live in these I would.  They're super soft and fit just right.  Plus V-necks are probably the most versatile thing you can have in your closet, they go with so much!

J.Crew Chino Shorts // Also a staple in my closet.  I usually go for the 4" inseam, which I have noticed they are now carrying more frequently in stores.

Hat // When I'm out walking Pecan, or even at the beach, I like to wear a hat to keep the sun off my face.  This one is lightweight and seems to keep me a little cooler than a traditional cotton hat.

Monogram Converse // I bought these to wear on my honeymoon while we were walking around and they have quickly become my travel walking shoes.  They're a little more stylish than a regular tennis shoe, and keep my feet from getting sore like they would in a sandal.

Sandals // I've seen a lot of versions of this particular style, but I'm loving the black and brown.  I usually try to pick a sandal that I can wear with a ton of different outfits, and these definitely fit the bill!

Scarf // I quickly learned this past weekend that scarves will be a necessity in Boston.  I love to wear one when I know I'll be indoors a lot because they're great to keep you from getting too cold in the super air conditioned areas!

This post was inspired by a linkup hosted by The B Bar, who prompted us to write about our summer essentials.  As a part of the linkup, I'm sharing other bloggers pages and their posts about their summer essentials!
