After finishing Whole 30, we've decided to stick to a paleo diet during the week and allow ourselves one cheat meal/date night a week.  It's easily become my favorite night of the week because it's a time for us to be able to enjoy some quality time together and some of our favorite foods we miss during the week!

The only thing I majorly dislike about going out for date night right now is that it is still pretty cold outside.  This past weekend was very Spring-like and such a teaser because the weather is supposed to be closer to the seasonal norm by the end of the week.  With winter inevitably making it's return, I thought I would share one of my go-to outfits for cold weather!

I spend most of my week in athleisure for work or jeans and a sweater for running errands so date night is an opportunity to feel a little more feminine by wearing a dress. But because bare legs and weather below 50 degrees does not go together in my book, tights have become an absolute necessity! I was never really a tights person before moving somewhere that had winter.  I actually remember throwing a fit when my mom and grandma wanted me to wear those white ones with my Easter dress as a little girl.  A bit has changed since my white tights Easter days.  I actually like wearing dresses, tights are my best friend during winter and pink is no longer an off limits color to me!

I hope you enjoyed your long weekend!  Kyle and I definitely took advantage of the beautiful weather  with lots of walks, a day at the beach and some relaxing mornings with the windows open! Have a wonderful (short!) week and I hope your Tuesday isn't too rough!
