The last time I wore a little white dress was the night of my rehearsal dinner. I had found the most gorgeous lace bell-sleeved dress months before our actual rehearsal dinner and I could not wait to wear it.
Being the type A I am I tried it on probably a dozen times
before putting it on the night of my rehearsal dinner. I planned out all my accessories and
everything was just perfect.
But just in case getting married isn’t exciting enough, the
second I arrived at the venue one of the side seams came undone. And when I say undone I mean all the way down the side. At least it wasn’t my actual wedding dress,
right? All I have to say is thank
goodness for bridesmaids who will pin you back into your dress!
Ever since then, little white dresses haven’t really been on
my radar. I think after being a bride,
you get a little tired of being expected to wear white and reach for other
colors. Not to mention finding a white dress that’s
not see-through, has some detailing, and doesn’t look too bridal can be quite
the challenge. I had long since passed
that torch on to the next round of brides-to-be!
Then I stumbled upon this little number from Femme Boutique Boston. It’s lined, has flirty feminine details, and
is such a steal at $44, making it the perfect little white dress for summer!
Happy Tuesday!
xoxo,
Kathryn
