You know those things that have always been on your wish list, but you haven’t really had an excuse to buy them?  For me, one of those things was a fiesta dress and it’s been on my wish list for years.  I don’t exactly know why I’ve wanted one for so long, but I always get the itch to buy a few times a year.  I would start my search and end up disappointed because I either couldn’t find one, or by the time I did they had sold out in my size.  So frustrating!

I recently stumbled upon The Happy Goose Shop (previously mentioned here), a cute online shop that’s run by a husband and wife team out of the DFW area.  When I saw that they had a fiesta dress I ordered it immediately and it was probably the best decision I made last week.  Besides avoiding cupcakes while we were shooting this post.  That was a good decision too.  This dress currently sold out, but they posted a few days ago that they would be restocking it in July!  It fits pretty true to size and has a little extra room in the bottom - I also suggest wearing a slip or something underneath, as it is a little shear. 

So, what’s my occasion that I will be wearing this gem to?  A margs and salsa night with some of my friends from church!  Guess who can have margs and salsa now?  This girl!  Yesterday was officially my last day of Whole 30 and while I don’t plan on going totally crazy this week, I am going to take some time off to enjoy some of the things I missed.  Stay tuned for my Whole 30 final update!
