For our family, Thanksgiving has always been a casual gathering where the focus is on family, food & football. I'm usually helping my Mamaw with something in the kitchen and end up changing into my "real clothes" right before everyone else arrives, so I always end up wearing my go-to outfit of riding boots, a sweater, jeans and a scarf. This year will be a little different for us as we're staying in Boston for the holiday, but my outfit will definitely still be casual for our little Friendsgiving celebration.
I picked up this cashmere sweater along with another from Halogen during the Nordstrom anniversary sale this summer and I'm so impressed with the quality. They're the perfect weight and actually long enough to be considered a tunic, so they look great with leggings as well! I'm also kind of obsessed with this little infinity scarf I picked up this past weekend. I'm usually not a fan of infinity scarves because they're a little limited on ways to wear them, but this one is the perfect taupe color and the fringe adds the perfect touch to an otherwise simple outfit. Oh, and it comes in six other colors besides this one and at $20 I'm definitely tempted to get a second one!
Whether you're celebrating with family, friends or both this Thanksgiving holiday, I hope you enjoy lots of good food, football and most importantly, get to spend time with the people you're thankful for the most!
xo,
Kitty
P.S. Stay tuned for another Thanksgiving outfit that's a little more dressy later this week!
