Before moving to Boston, cashmere was definitely not on my radar.  I always thought it was silly to spend the extra money on a sweater just because it was cashmere. But oh, have I learned the error in my ways.  We were in Freeport, Maine at the Patagonia store this past summer, and Kyle was looking for a big, puffy jacket.  I just was not ready to make that sort of commitment considering it was still warm outside, so I was over in the sweater section looking for layering items.  That's when I found this gem of a cashmere sweater on major, major sale and decided to give it a try.  Yesterday it finally got cool enough for me to  wear this sweater, and I'm totally converted.  It was so soft and cozy that I didn't want to take it off!  I can't say that I would ever pay full price for anything cashmere considering you can usually find options on sale, but this will definitely not be my last cashmere piece.  I can't seem to find this particular sweater anywhere online, but I'll link some similar ones below!

Oh, and I forgot to mention...Pecan decided he wanted to make his debut on the blog.  He's only in two of the pictures because he just would not cooperate, and the two that we got were because he was laser focused on another dog.   I swear he knows when we're trying to take pictures and he does the most non-photogenic things.  Anyways, I hope you had a fabulous weekend and your Monday is off to a good start!
