How is it already August?! I swear we were just packing up our stuff to move to Boston yesterday. We've got some family and friends coming to visit this month and Kyle will be celebrating his birthday, so August will definitely be a lot of fun! This past week was pretty educational for me as I got back into the studio at Pure Barre Burlington and attended an event for Juice Beauty. I definitely learned that you should not take a month off of weight bearing exercises because you will cry every time you have to take the stairs, and thanks to Juice Beauty, I'm starting to look at the ingredients in my beauty products a little more closely.
- I may or may not have a thing for spots - these Kate Spade heels fit the bill perfectly.
- I've mentioned Lo & Sons on here before, and The Every Girl has a giveaway and discount!
- Bold earrings have been on my radar lately, and these tassel ones from Tuckernuck are perfect
- We all know I love a good v-neck tee, and these little gems from Leith are my new favorite
- One of my favorite instagram accounts, Rachel Ryle now has a her very own art shop
- These d'Orsay sandals are perfection (& they're currently price matching)
- I would die laughing if I saw someone with a purse raincoat, but I would be lying if I said I didn't think twice about it
Around the web:
- I love snail mail, and Postagram makes postcards out of your social media photos
- Cuddle Clones will replicate your furry friend as a plush toy
- This series of photos of a girl and her dog are just about the cutest thing I've ever seen
- Which of these guilty spending pleasures can you most relate to?
- Even though it's been a million degrees out, I've been in a soup mood lately (odd, I know), and this recipe for corn chowder looks so good!
- Pure Barre is going international. Look out, Canada!
- I finally started reading The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up - probably should have done this pre-move.
From Mrs. on the Move:
- My wardrobe staples post about accessories is your perfect excuse to shop this weekend
- Can't stop, won't stop wearing chambray this summer
I hope y'all get out and soak up this last month of summer - it's going to be gone before we know it!
xo,
Kitty
