Necklace: Love Always | Lipstick: MAC Candy Yum Yum
Obviously this look was shot a while ago because I still have long hair in the pictures, but I'm actually a little glad I waited to share this look with y'all because the dress went on sale and is now 40% off! I love Free People, but have been a little hesitant to buy some of their pieces because they can be a little too low cut or short at times. This dress is neither, and is so, so comfortable! For reference, I'm 5'6" and it hits me mid-thigh. It runs large in my opinion, but does have an adjustable tie at the waist, so you can make it a little less flowy if you choose!
When styling lightweight, flowy dresses I like to keep the accessories simple. Often times I'm wearing these during the summer and as the temperatures rise, the less fussy my outfit, the better. This usually means comfortable shoes and an easy cross body purse. I bought these shoes on a whim and they'e easily become one of go-tos because they're great for spring, summer and I even think early fall.
The dress also comes in a gorgeous green and orange floral print. The green is calling my name and may or may not be making its way into my shopping cart very soon!
